PANDUAN MEMBUAT CERITA LIBURAN & EKSPRESI DALAM BAHASA INGGRIS

A. Cara Menulis Cerita Liburan (Holiday Story)

1. Gunakan Past Tense
Karena ceritamu tentang kejadian yang sudah berlalu, maka gunakan bentuk lampau (past tense).

Verb (Kata Kerja) Sekarang	Past Tense (Lampau)
go (pergi)	went
eat (makan)	ate
visit (mengunjungi)	visited
see (melihat/bertemu)	saw
enjoy (menikmati)	enjoyed
celebrate (merayakan)	celebrated

2. Struktur Cerita Sederhana:

• Introduction (Pembukaan):
  Where did you spend your holiday?
  Contoh: Last Eid holiday, I went to my grandparents’ house in Yogyakarta.

• Main Events (Isi Cerita):
  What did you do? What activities did you enjoy?
  Contoh: We ate delicious food, met many relatives, and prayed together at the mosque.

• Conclusion (Penutup):
  How did you feel?
  Contoh: I felt very happy because I could spend time with my whole family.

B. Contoh Kalimat Cerita Liburan:

1. I visited my uncle’s house during Eid.

2. We ate ketupat, rendang, and opor ayam together.

3. I met my cousins and we played games.

4. I felt happy and thankful.

5. I hope next year’s Eid will be as joyful as this one.
